The 2019 ReTOOL cohort represented the program at the 12th AACR Conference on The Science of Cancer Health Disparities in Racial/Ethnic Minorities and the Medically Underserved conference. This year’s conference was held in San Francisco, CA. This was many of our trainees’ first professional conference. They did a great job presenting their research as well as networking with other researchers.
The trainees who attended the conference were Yaseen Elhag (UCF), Armani Hayes (EWC), Malcolm Ingraham (UCF), and Kayanna Jacobs (FAMU).
